Its’ headquarter is situated in the New York City. It is spread over in 17 to 18 acre. It was completed in 1952.

Role of General Assembly is to take important decisions on important issues like public welfare, world security and peace, Its’ headquarter is in New York city, United States. The president of General Assembly is Tijjani Muhammad-Bande from Nigeria.

2. UN Secretariat:-It was founded in 1945. It comes under Secretary General of UNO i.e. Antonio Guterres. It provides essential information and facilities to the other members of UNO. It has 193 permanent members. Its’ headquarter at New York and its’ construction was started in 1947 and completed in 1952. The architectures were Oscar Niemeyer, Le Corbusier and Wallace Harrison etc.

3. International Court of Justice:- It was founded on 26 June 1945. Its’headquarter at Hague, Netherlands. It was established due to Charter of UNO. It has 15 judges and elected in every 9 years. The president of International Court of Justice is Abdulqawi Ahmed Yusuf from Somali.

4. Security Council:- It was founded on 24 October 1945. Its’ headquarter at New York, United States. It has 15 member countries in which 5 members are permanent as in UNO i.e. United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia, China and 10 non-permanent members which are elected in every two years. Each country member has a responsibility to maintain world peace and security. Each member has a veto power. Its’ first session was held on 17 January 1946 at Church House, Westminster, London. President are elected in alphabetical order of the members of Security Council for the term of only one month. Currently the president of Security Council is Pham Binh Minh from Vietnam.

5. Economic and Social Council:- It was founded in 1945. It has 54 country members. They have reserved seats according to their geographical areas by which African Countries have 14 seats, Asian Countries have 11 seats, East-European countries has 6 seats, Latin American States and Caribbean States have 10 seats and West-European Countries and others have 13 seats. The function of this council is to discuss about the social and economic issues of the world like financial states of a country, education facilities, to keep record of loans which the countries borrows from World Bank. The president of Economic and Social Council is Mona Juul from Norway.

6. Trusteeship Council:- It was founded in 1945. It consists of 11 trust territories. It was established due to make 11 trust territories independent. It is an inactive organization, when the last trust territory merge into Pacific Island in 1994. Its’ currently president Anne Gueguen from France.

India With UNO:

1. Veto Power is given to five permanent members of UNO i.e. United States, United Kingdom, France, China, Russia. This power indicates that each members has one vote. India is the founding member of UN. India became the part of UN on October 1944 after signing the declaration by United Nations at Washington D.C. It also participated the Conference of United Nations at San Francisco and signed at the Charter of United Nations on 26 June 1945. India has became the seven times (14 years) member of Security Council of United Nations and recently, it was part in 2011-2012. Syed Akbaruddin is the permanent representative of India to the United Nations. In 2014, currently Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi addresses the General Assembly of United Nations. Why India is not a permanent member of the Security Council of UN? When United Nations formed India was not an independent nation and nor it has developed economy or any other facility i.e. it was not a strong power. And at that time, the member have to be ability to act as an superior and to retain the order, so it didn’t become the permanent member of Security Council of UN. Why not now? There is no doubt that India is a developing country and is trying to take the lead from the other countries but some data not allows India to be the permanent member of UN Security Council. India has Low Human Development Index as around 130th out of 188. According to the World Bank, India has 63rd rank and in Nominal GDP, it is at the rank of 5th. In World Health Organization, India got 118th rank. In Human Capital Index, it has 115th rank. As according to the information, UN is an international organization, established to maintain world security and peace and made good relations among the countries. Its six principal organs make it strong and other 17 special agencies also play an important role to keep our world unite. India has also an important role in the formation of UN but some facts does not allow India to be a part of UN Security Council but we hope that India will keep its spirit and make a well furnished nation as all among the countries. Type of Protest

Many types of protests were done in Indian history and gave their best to frame the Indian unity. Some protests done before the freedom and some after the freedom. Protests before freedom were done mainly to get Indian independence. After independence, protests were done to give the structure to the Indian Constitution. These protests were like social, environment, ecological etc.

Indian Movements

1) Swadeshi Movement:
This movement was done in 7 August 1905 in Kolkata. This movement was done in against the decision of the Partition of Bengal. Some Important leaders led the protest like Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai, Sayyad Haider Raza. On 7th August, at the Town Hall in Kolkata, Swadeshi Movement was announced and boycott resolution was passed. This movement was done to promote of buying Indian products instead of buying Foreign products and to give employment to Indian Citizens. As per the decision by British Government, the Bengal was separated. But this movement aroused patriotism in every person.

2) Satyagraha Movement:
There were two types of satyagraha was done named as Neil Satyagraha and Salt Satyagraha. Both the satyagraha was led by Mahatma Gandhi. Neil Satyagraha: This movement was done in 1917 in Champaran, Bihar. This protest was done to prevent the exploitation of neil farmers by British Government. British Government forced the farmers to grow neil and give some percent of neil to them that they could can sell them in foreign. Gandhiji was taken to Patna by one of the farmers name Ram Chandra Shukla and on the request of Mahatma Gandhi, Indian National Congress passed a resolution and showed concern and sympathy for the farmers of Champaran in 1916. This movement forced the government to stop the exploitation and gave a new hope to the farmers to fight for their injustice. Salt Satyagraha: This movement was done in the against the rule of imposing tax on salt. As we know, that salt is one of our basic need. Imposing tax on salt, make the poor people difficult to buy. A majority of people were affected due to this tax. In the protest of the rule, Gandhiji did a Dandi March from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmadabad to Dandi Gujrat. This march took almost 3 weeks to complete and it was of 385 km. After reaching to Dandi, Gandhiji gave the technique to make salt from the sea water and disobeyed the British Rule. After the protest, this movement spread in among the country and nearly 80,000 people were put in jail.

3)Jallianwala Bagh Massacre:
This slaughter is a shameful event in the history of India. This massacre has taken place at Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab on 13 April 1919. People were assembled due to protest of Rowlett Act. Rowlett Act was introduced by British Government on the recommendation of Sedition Committee, which states that British Government has the right to arrest anyone without giving him any reason and litigation him in the court. When the people were gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh, General Dyer ordered his soldiers to fire bullets on the weaponless crowd without any admonition. With his soldiers, General Dyer blocked all the 5 gates of Jallianwala Bagh and stopped them from going outside. At most 400 people were died and 200 people were injured.

4)Non-Cooperation Movement:
This movement led by Gandhiji and it was mission against their policies which only exploits the Indians. In the Calcutta Session of Indian National Congress (INC), non-cooperation movement was passed in 1920. This movement insures that the people leave their titles, boycott the schools and colleges, renounce government jobs etc. In this movement, some of the convulsionary burnt the 22 policemen and this act make Gandhiji demotivate and after that Gandhiji decided to stop the movement.

5) Chauri Chaura Incident:
This incident had taken place on 5th February 1920. When the non-cooperation movement was on its peak, some of the agitators burnt 22 policemen. They were Thanadar Gupteshwar Singh, Deputy Inspector Armed Police Force Prithivi Pal Singh, Head Constable Vashir Khan, Kapil Dev Singh, Lakhai Singh, Raghuveer Singh, Visheshar Ram Yadav, Muhammad Ali, Hasan Khan, Gadabakhsh Khan, Jama Khan, Magaru Chaubey, Rambali Pandey, Kapil Dev, Indrasan Singh, Ramlakhan Singh, Mardana Khan, Jagdev Singh, Jagai Singh, Chowkidar Bazir, Ghinsai, Jathai and Katwaru Ram. For this act, Abdullah, Bhagwan, Vikram, Dudahi, Kali Charan, Lal Muhammad, Lauti, Madheva, Meghu Ali, Nazar Ali, Raghuveer, Ramlagan, Ramroop, Rudali, Sahadev, Sampat Putra Mohan, Sampat, Shyam Sundar and Sitaram had given Capital Punishment. Gandhiji took back the non-cooperation movement.

6) Civil Disobedience Movement:
This movement was led by Gandhiji. The reason for this movement was the refusal of Gandhiji s’ 11 demands. The demands were:
i) Reduction in civil services and military expenditure by up to 50 percent.
ii) Complete ban on the sale of intoxicants.
iii) Public Control over the CID Department and it should be scrapped
iv) There should be some changes in Arms Law and people have some authority to keep tool for their self defense.
v) All political prisoners should be released.
vi) Postal reservation bill should be passed.
vii) The exchange rate of rupees should be reduced to 1 shilling 4 pence.
viii) Defensive duties should be imposed and the import of foreign cloth should be controlled.
ix) The Coastal Traffic Defense Bill should be passed.
x) Fifty percent reduction in revenue should be done.
xi) Tax and Government monopoly on salt should be abolished. Government had given the time upto 31 January 1930. The Government refused to accept the demands. In order to, Gandhiji start Civil Disobedience Movement. According to this movement, Gandhiji refused to accept the orders passed by Government. He did Dandi March, Neil Satyagraha, Non-cooperation movement etc. These were first steps taken by Gandhiji against the British rule.

7)Quit India Movement:
This movement was done after the Bombay Session of Indian National Congress (INC). Gandhiji and Leaders of INC were arrested before the start of the movement and INC was declared as an illegal organization. This situation raised to ‘Do or Die’. In this movement 940 people were died and 1630 were injured and 60229 were arrested. By this movement, leaders like Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Asaf Ali, Jai Prakash Narayan were emerged. When all the people came in unity, British Government had decided to give the Administration to Indians and after that Gandhiji stopped the movement and more than 10,000 people were released.

8)Chipko Movement:
This movement was done in Uttarakhand in 1973. This was a non-violent, social and ecological movement. This movement was done due to the deforestation. To save the tress from cutting, people used to adherence to the tress, that’s why it named as Chipko Movement. Mainly females were contributed to this movement. After the movement, The Government enacted The Forest Protection Act. In this act, the bill was passed by current Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in which it was stated to banned the cutting the trees of Himalaya Region for 15 years.

9)Narmada Bachao Movement:

This movement was done due to decision of making a huge dam named, Sardar Sarovar Dam. Narmada river is a one of the largest flowing river, it supports many of the tribal people of Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The decision was taken by Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru in 1961. According to this project, 30 large dams, 135 medium dams and 3000 small dams were to be constructed. Construction of dams may effects the life of people living on the bank of river. Medha Patkar and Baba Amte were the main leaders of the movement.

10)Nirbhaya Movement:
This movement was against of inhumanity done on 16 December 2016. As we know, Jyoti Singh was brutally gangraped by four men. She died on 29 December 2012 in Singapore. This act was very shameful and against humanity. Citizens protests at Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Residence of current Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Shiela Dixit and in front of Police Headquarters. Six persons were arrested in charge of kidnapping, rape and murder. One committed suicide and one is sent to reformatory for 3 years and other 4 has given capital punishment.

Reasons of World War 1

1)Austrian Prince Assassination:

On 28 June 1914, Austrian Prince Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie Chotek went a visit to Bosnia. When they were in the Bosnian Capital Sarajevo, were assassinated by Bosnian Serbian Nationalist Nedjelko Cabrinovic. He threw a hand grenade in the car of the prince. His last words were ,”So you welcome your guests with bombs?! What is the good in your speeches? I come to Sarajevo on a visit, and I get bombs thrown at me. It is outrageous.” Austria believed that Serbia was involved in that assassination. After the assassination, Austria gave final warning to Serbia to surrender themselves in front of them but they refuse to accept this instead of this, he took help from Russia. Meanwhile, Austria took help from Germany which was the starting of the World War 1.

2) Treaties:

Triple Alliance: This treaty was signed between three countries: Austria-Hungary, Italy, Germany on 20 May 1882. Till 1879, it was an alignment between Germany and Austria-Hungary. They swear that they help each other if any of them attacked by another country. But in World War 1, Italy joined Allied powers and fought against Germany and Austria-Hungary. Triple Entente: This treaty was signed between three countries: France, Great Britain and Russia on 31 August 1907. Till 1904, It was Entente Cordiale between France and Great Britain. It was also formed in the opposition of Triple Alliance.

3) Imperialism:

Imperialism is an ideology in which powerful states desire to rule on other countries for expansion of their states. They get raw material from there and control over them by politically, economically, culturally, etc. If we talk about the cause of imperialism in World War 1, it plays an important role in it. Before World War 1, Britain was a powerful state. It was colonized in Asian and African countries. As seen in Britain, some countries like France, Holland, Belgium, Portugal, Denmark, Italy also started colonialism which leads to International Rivalry.

4) Militarism and Armament:

Militarism is a situation in which states understand the importance of Military and Arms for which they started more expenditure on making weapons and increasing more military forces. Countries started to letting down each other and created a situation of war among them.

5) Alsace-Lorraine Case:

Alsace and Lorraine were two cities in France. In 1870-71, A war of France-Prussian took place in which Prussian won and it captured some part of France and make two cities Alsace and Lorraine. But in 1919, these two cities were returned back to France. But in 1940, it was taken back by Germany. This affront of France caused the world war 1.

5) Alsace-Lorraine Case:

Alsace and Lorraine were two cities in France. In 1870-71, A war of France-Prussian took place in which Prussian won and it captured some part of France and make two cities Alsace and Lorraine. But in 1919, these two cities were returned back to France. But in 1940, it was taken back by Germany. This affront of France caused the world war 1.

Consequences of World War 1

1) Versailles Treaty:

After the World War 1, Germany and his allied powers were blamed for the World War. They signed on the Versailles Treaty on 28 June 1919, in Versailles, near Paris.

2) Killings and Injuries:

In this war, many people were killed and most of the civilians were affected. They lost their homes, earning sources etc.

3) League of Nations:

For stopping any another type of war in future, an Organization named as, League of Nations was formed. It was formed on 10 January 1920. It was formed by the recommendation of US President, Woodrow Wilson.

4) New Independent States:

After the War, Austria-Hungary were broken and became new independent states named as, Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia. As well as Baltic Countries became new independent Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania.

5) Declination of European Counties:

As the loss in the war, European Countries lost their supremacy in other countries.

Causes of world war 2:

1) Treaty of Versailles:

As we know, that after world war 1, Germany was forced to sign on Treaty of Versailles, as they were blamed for world war 1. In according to that, they agreed on some conditions of Versailles Treaty like,
• They have to pay for the damages of world war 1 i.e. reparations of 6,600 billion
• They can have just 100,000 men in their armed force with no tanks, artillery, no aircraft-airships, no poisonous gas,
• They will return Alsace-Lorraine to France.
At most one year, Germany follow the agreement. But Nazis arose that time and they forced Germany to become a New Germany and speaks against the tolerance of Versailles Treaty.
Germans believes that this treaty was offensive for them. In order that, they refused to accept which led to world war 2.

2) Economic Depression:

This was also a reason for world war 2. At the time of 1930, more of the countries were suffering from economic depression. Production was started declining. Germany and Italy were mostly affected by the depression. Inflation was started rising. Germans believed that Versailles treaty was responsible for the depression. And as to increase their powers, they should fight for their country.

3) Failure of League of Nations:

League of Nations was formed on 10 January 1920. This organization was formed to prevent any other world war in future. But it was failed because the countries involved on League of Nations started leaving it. Big Countries like Japan, United Kingdom, Britain had also leaved league of nations. It was unable to maintain peace and coordination among the countries.

4) Disarmament Conference:

This conference was held in 1933 in Geneva. Sixty countries took part in this conference. In this conference, Germany demanded that the other countries have to reduce their armed forces and weapons as they have. But other countries refused to do so. Even they declared to increase their armed forces. As according to that, Germany also refused to accept earlier treaties with them and leaved league of nations.

5) Attack by Germany on Poland:

In April 1939, Adolf Hitler from Germany asked Poland to return Dodging Port and Polis Corridor to them. But they refused. Meanwhile, Poland signed on a treaty with England and France. On 1 September 1939, Germany attacked on Poland and World War 2 Started.

Consequences of World War 2:

1) Hiroshima and Nagasaki:

At the end of World War2, America dropped Atomic Bombs named Little Boy and Fat Man on two states of Japan, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These two cities were most affected and still some traces can be found in the cities.

2) End of Colonialism:

Most of the powerful European countries loses their colonies one by one. Countries like India, Verma, Malaya become independent.

3) Rose of two powers America and Soviet Union:

Allied powers like America and Soviet Union became strongest powers in the World. They started establishing their dominance.

4) Disintegration of Germany:

World War divided Germany in two parts called West Germany and East Germany. They both came under America and Soviet Union respectively. They divided by Berlin Wall. In 1989, Berlin Wall fell and Germany integrated.

5) Formation of United Nations:

United Nations was formed on 24 October 1945. It was formed to prevent another future war and to maintain peace and coordination among the countries.

• He was the founder of Mughal Emperor.
• His real name was Jahiruddin Mohammad Babur. • He was born on 14 February 1483 in Andijan in Fergana, Turkey     (Uzbekistan).
• Umar Shekh Mirza and Qutulugh Ngar Khanum were his parents.
• He ruled over Fergana at the age of 11.
• He had a Battle sir-e-pul with Shaybani in Samar Kand (capital of Turkey) in which he was defeated.
• In 1504, He became the ruler of Kabul and Kandhar.
• In 1526, He had again a battle with Ibrahim Lodi. By his adopted Tulughma War Strategy, he won the battle and ruled over     Agra.
• He was a fancier of Horticulture.
• He established Kabuli Bagh and Kabuli Mosque.
• He issued Shah Rukh Coins and Baburi Coins in Kabul and Kandhar.
• Qalander and Badshah titles were given to him.
• He had a battle of Khanwa with Rana Sanga, Mehmood Lodhi Medini Rai and individual battle of Chanderi and battle of              Ghagra with Medini Rai and Mehmood Lodhi in 1528 and 1529 respectively in which again he won.
• He died on 26 December 1530.
• His tomb is situated in Agra and after sometime in Kabul.
• He wrote his autobiography Tuzuk-e-Baburi or Baburnama in Turkish Language.

2) Humayun (1530-1540) & (1555-1556)

• His real name was Nasir al-Din Muhammad. • His was the son of Babur and Mahim Begum.
• He was born on 17 March 1508 in Kabul, Afghanistan.
• He had three siblings Kamran, Askari, Hindal.
• He killed Mehmood Lodhi in the battle of Dohariya in 1531.
• In 1540, Sher Khan attacked on Humayun and became the ruler. Sher Khan/Suri ruled for 15 years.
• In 1555, He defeated Sher Shah Suri in Kannauj and ruled again.
• But unfortunately, he ruled just for one year, in 1556, he fall down from the stairs of his Din Panah Library and died.
• His tomb is located in Delhi by Hazi Begum (His second wife).
• His biography was written by his sister Gulbadan Begum.

• His real name was Badruddin.
• He was the son of Humayun and Hamida Banu Begum.
• He was born on 15 October 1542 in Umarkot, Pakistan.
• He was crowned at the age of 13 for Mughal Emperor.
• He married to Harkha Bai.
• He prohibited slavery system, sati system and jaziya & pilgrimage tax in 1562, 1563, 1564 respectively.
• In 1573, he made Bulan Darwaza, Ibadat Khana, Panch Mahal, Marriyum Mahal, Tomb of Salim Chishti in Fatehpur Sikri.
• He also made Agra Fort, Allahabad fort and Lahore Fort.
• He gave land for Golden Temple in Amritsar to Guru Ramdas (IV Guru of Sikhs).
• He started Mansabdari System.
• He started religion Deen-e-Ilahi. He also started Ilahi Samvat, Ilahi Ghaz, Ilahi Coins.

• He married to Man Bai and Jagat Gosai.
• He has two sons Khusro and Khurram.
• He killed Guru Arjun Dev (V Guru of Sikhs).
• He declared 12 Ordinances called Ain-e-Jahangiri.
• He again married to Mehrunisa 1611.
• Britishers establish a temporary factory in Masuli Patnam in Andhra Pradesh in same year.
• His period is known as Golden Era of Paintings. He had a famous painter Ustad Mansoor Khan in his court.
• He died on 28 October 1627 in Rajouri.
• His tomb is located in Shahdara, Lahore.

5) Shahjahan (1627-1658)

• His real name was Khurram.
• His was the son of Jahangir and Jagat Gosai.
• He was born on 5 January 1592 in Lahore, Pakistan.
• He got married to Arjumand Bano Begum (Mumtaz Mahal).
• He constructed Taj Mahal in Agra in the remembrance of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
• Taj Mahal was constructed from 1631 to 1653.
• He established a city Shahjahanbad, now Purani Delhi in 1638.
• He also constructed Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Delhi Gate, Kashmere Gate, Ajmeri Gate, Lahori Gate in the same year.
• He had two courts Deewan-e-Aam and Deewan-e-Khas in Red Fort.
• He died on 22 January 1666 in Agra Fort in Agra during imprisonment by his son Aurangzeb.
• His tomb is located in Taj Mahal, Agra with his wife s’ tomb.

6) Aurangzeb (1658-1707)

• His real name is Muhi al-Din Muhammad.
• He was the son of ShahJahan and Mumtaz Mahal.
• He was born on 3 November 1618 in Dahod.
• He fought many battles for successorship of Mughal Empire with his brothers.
• He called himself Zinda Peer (living saint).
• He reintroduced Jaziya.
• He faced revolts in North India and South India.
• In North India, he faced revolts because of Agrarian Policy and Religion suppression.
• In South India, he faced revolts because of Violation of Treaty in Bijapur, rising aspiration of Marathas Nationalism.
• He banned on Sati Custom, Hindu Festival, Jharokha Darshan, Tuledan, music in court.
• He died because of illness on 3 March 1707 in Bhingar, Ahmednagar.
• His Tomb is located in Khuldabad, Maharashtra.

SLAVE DYNASTY

Starting with Salve Dynasty. This dynasty ruled from 1206 to 1290. This Dynasty is also known as Mamluk and Ilbari Dynasty. In this Dynasty, there were 7 rulers ruled over Delhi Sultanate. We will study about rulers and works done by them.

1) Qutub-ud-Din Aibak (1206-1210)

· He ruled for 4 years.
· He was the slave of Muhammad Ghori.
· He was the founder of Slave Dynasty.
· He constructed Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque in Dehli, Adhai Din Ka Jhopra (Mosque) in Ajmer and Qutub Minar of 73 feet in Delhi   (construction was completed by the next ruler, Iltutmish).
· He was given title of Lakh Baksh.
· He died while playing Polo in Lahore.
· His tomb is in Lahore.

2) Shams-ud-Din Iltutmish (1211-1236)

· He ruled for 25 years.
· He was the slave of Qutub-ud-Din Aibak and defeated his son Aram Shah and became ruler.
· He conquered Ranthambore in 1226, Mandawar in 1227, Bayana, Jalor, Gwalior, Malwa, Bhilsa, Ujjain, Bengal in 1231.
· He also defeated and killed Yaldauj (an another slave of Qutub-ud-Din Aibak) in the Battle of Tarrain III.
· At the time of ruling period of Iltutmish, Mangol firstly came in India. The head of Mangol Chngez Khan was in search of the killer of his brother, Jalal-ud-Din. Jalal-id-Din wants shelter from Iltutmish to save his life. Iltutmish refused to give any shelter to save Delhi Sultanate from Magols.
· He completed the construction of Qutub Minar.
· He made a group of 40 Ghulams called Turkan-e-Chahelgani (Dal Chalisa).
· He issued copper coin-Jeetal and silver coins-Tunka and Taka.
· He started an Iktedari System in which he made Iktedars (rulers) for Ikta (provinces) which they conquered to generate Revenue.
· He died in 1236.
· His tomb is situated in Delhi.

3) Razia Begum (1236-1240)

· She was the first and only ruler in Delhi Sultanate on the basis of her popularity and talent.
· She ruled for 4 years.
· Bahram Shah (Razia s’ Brother) lent Dal Chalisa to his side to become the ruler of Delhi Sultante.
· There was an another enemy Aitgin (Iktedar of Badau, UP) and Altuniya (Iktedar of Bhatinda, Punjab) and wants to be ruler of Delhi Sultanate.
· Razia hired Yakut Khan as a care taker of Royal Stable called Amir-e-Akhoor.
· Altuniya attacked on Razia and Yakut Khan and killed Yakut Khan and married to Razia.
· But unfortunately, Razia and Altuniya were killed by Bahram Shah.
· Their tomb is situated in Kaithal, Haryana.

4) Bahram Shah (1240-1242)

· He ruled only for 2 years.
· He hired Aitgin The Head of Dal Chalisa, called him Nayab-e-Mumalqat.
· He was killed by Masood Shah.
· Massod Shah was the Son of Another Brother (Rukn-ud-Din Feroze) of Razia.

5) Masood Shah (1242-1246)

· He ruled for 4 years.
· According the Historians, he was considered as an worthless ruler.
· He died in 1246.

6) Nasiruddin Mahmood (1246-1266)

· He ruled for 10 years.
· He was the grandson of Iltutmish.
· In his court, there was a Minister, Balban who deals with state affairs called Wazir-e-Azam.
· Nasiruddin Mahmood got the title of Ulugh Khan.
· He died in 1266.

7) Ghiyasuddin Balban (1266-1287)

· He ruled for 21 years.
· He destroyed Dal Chalisa.
· He started Iron and Blood Policy.
· He started Paiboss and Sijda.
· His started kingship policy in which no one can disobey his orders and king has all the powers.
· In the youth age, he was kidnapped by Mangols, and after bought by Iltutmish as Slave.
· Mangols attacked in Delhi Sultanate in 1287, in this war he lost his son and died in mourn of his son.

8) Muiz-ud-Din Muhammd Qaiqabad (1287-1290)

· He ruled for 3 years.
· He was the grandson of Balban.
· He was killed by Malik Feroze (Jalal-ud-Din Khalji).

Khalji Dynasty

Khalji Dynasty was the second dynasty of Delhi Sultanate. This dynasty ruled from 1290 to 1320. In this dynasty, 3 rulers ruled in Delhi Sultanate.

1) Jalal-ud-Din Khalji (1290-1296)

· He ruled for 6 years.
· His real name was Malik Feroze.
· He founded khalji dynasty.
· Mangols attacked in his time period and he clearly save his sultanate by sending Ala-ud-Din Khalji (his nephew and his son-in-law).
· He established a state named Mughalpur (now Mangolpuri).
· He was killed by his son in law Ala-ud-Din Khalji in 1296.

2) Ala-ud-Din Khalji (1296-1316)

· He ruled for 20 years.
· His real name was Ali Gurshashpa.
· He had a slave Malik Qafur (Hazar Dinari) bought from the Gujrat Mission.
· He got title of Sikandar-e-Sani by Malik Qafur.
· He taxed Jazia on non-muslims.
· He made anti-corruption department called, Deewan-e-Musaat.
· He started Huliya Dagh System.
· He constructed- Allai Minar, Allai Darwaza, Hauz Khas, Siri Fort.
· In his time period, he conquered Malwa, Dhar, Mandu, Ujjain, Marwar, Chanderi, Jalor Ranthombar, Devagiri.
· He was killed by Malik Qafur.
· His tomb is situated at Qutub Minar premises in Delhi.

3) Qutubuddin Mubarak Khalji (1316-1320)

· He ruled for 4 years.
· He was the son of Alauddin Khalji.
· He was killed by Khusro Khan, thereafter he was killed by Ghazi Malik.

TUGHLAQ DYNASTY

Tughlaq Dynasty was third dynasty of Delhi Sultanate. This dynasty ruled from 1320 to 1414. In this dynasty, 4 rulers ruled over the Delhi Sultanate.

1) Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq (1320-1325)

· He ruled for 5 years.
· His real name was Ghazi Malik.
· He established city Tughlakabad.
· Canals were made firstly in India in his period.
· He died in Tughalakbad.

2) Muhammad Bin Tughlaq (1325-1351)

· He ruled for 26 years.
· His real name was Jauna Khan.
· He was the son of Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq.
· He was a great scholar of Arabian and Persian Language.
· He did 7 revolts in north and 27 revolts in south.
· According to the some historians, he is called an Insane Ruler because of failure decisions.
· He replaced old coins by new coins named, Dinar (gold coins) and Adali (silver coins).
· He also converted silver coins (tanka) in copper coins.
· He imposed tax on Doab (place between two rivers for farming).
· He made a department of agriculture and irrigation called Deewan-e-Kohi.
· He died in the revolt of Thatta in Sind.
· His tomb is situated in Sind.

3) Feroz Shah Tughlaq (1351-1388)

· He ruled for 37 years.
· According to the historians, he was known as a kind hearted ruler.
· He was the nephew of Muhammad Bin Tughlaq.
· He established 6 cities- Hissar and Fatehabad in Haryana, Ferozpur in Punjab, Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi, Ferozabad and Jaunpur in Delhi.
· He made a department for old person s’ pension called, Deewan-e-Isithaq.
· He shifted Topra Pillar (Ambala, Haryana) and Meerut Pillar(Uttat Pradesh) to Delhi.
· He made department for Hindu called, Deewan-e-Khairat.
· He constructed a hospital named, Daar-ul-Shifa.
· He made a department of slave called, Deewan-e-Bundagan.
· He wrote his Autobiography named, Futuhat-e-Firozshahi.
· He died in 1388 and his tomb is situated in Delhi.

4) Nasiruddin Mehmood Shah (1394-1414)

· He ruled for 20 years.
· Khizra Khan in his court, helped by Taimur (Son of Changez Khan from Turkey) to conquered Delhi Sultanate. As Nasiruddin Mehmood was killed by Khizra Khan and became the new ruler of Delhi Sultanate.

SAYYID DYNASTY

Sayyid Dynasty was the fourth dynasty of Delhi Sultanate. This Dynasty ruled from 1414-1451. In this dynasty 4 rulers ruled over Delhi Sultanate.

1) Khizra Khan (1414-1421)

· He ruled for 7 years.
· He was the governor of Multan.
· He belongs to Shiya Community.
· He was also called Raiyar-e-Ala (Zamindar).
· He died in 1421.

2) Mubarak Shah (1421-1434)

· He ruled for 13 years.
· He was the son of Khizra Khan.
· He was assassinated in 1434.

3) Muhammad Shah (1434-1445)

· He ruled for 11 years.
· He was the nephew of Mubarak Shah.
· He was an unable ruler.
· He declared Bahlul (a person in his court) as Ruler.
· He died in 1445.

4) Alauddin Alam Shah (1445-1451)

· He ruled for 6 years.
· He was the son of Muhammad Shah.
· He was also an unable ruler.
· He left the throne in favour of Bahlul Lodi.
· He constructed his father s’ tomb in Lodhi Garden in Delhi.
· His tomb is situated in Badau, UP.

LODHI DYNASTY

Lodhi dynasty was the last dynasty of Delhi Sultanate. This dynasty ruled from 1451 to 1526. In this dynasty 3 rulers ruled over Delhi Sultanate.

1) Bahlul Lodhi (1451-1498)

· He ruled for 47 years.
· He conquered Mewat, Sambhal, Rewar, Suket, Manipur, Bhongaon, Koll, Etwah, Chandwar.
· He also added Janupur to Delhi Sultanate.
· He died in 1498.

2) Sikandar Lodhi (1498-1517)

· He ruled for 19 years.
· He was the son of Bahlul Lodhi.
· His real name was Nizam Shah, later called Sikandar Shah in 1489.
· He established a city called Sikandrabad (now Agra)
· He shifted capital Delhi to Agra.
· He was a writer. His pen name was Gurumukhi.
· He wrote book on Ayurveda called, Farhang-Sikandari.
· He gave the measurement called Ghaz-e-Sikandari (1 Ghaz-e-Sikandari=30 inches).
· He prohibited Tazia on Muharram.

3) Ibrahim Lohi (1517-1526)

· He ruled for 9 years.
· He was the son of Sikandar Lodhi.
· He fought the Panipat Battle I with Babur, in which he was killed by him.
· His tom is situated in Panipat.

As we know, after the struggle of many years, India got freedom on 15 August 1947. At that time, India was facing many problems like pecuniary difficulties, state re-formation, growth and development, etc. The main issue was the unification of princely states into India. There were 565 princely states were there, in which maximum states were agreed to integrate into India with the help of strategic sense of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. These states signed the agreement called, Instrument of Accession which states that they are ready to become the part of India. Those states who were not agreed, they were forced as they can become the major boundary problem for India and they decided to become an independent state. But one of these state Kashmir was not willing to fully accept to become the part of India and Pakistan. It decided that if any from the India or Pakistan uses their powers against them, they will review their opinion. On 22 October, Thousands of armed forces called Tribal attackers attacked on Kashmir and on 24 October, the king of Kashmir Raja Hari Singh asked for help from Indian Government. On this, India did an agreement with the king that they will help to rescue Kashmir from tribal attackers and the king will sign the agreement of Instrument of Accession. On 26 October, the agreement was signed by both and Indian army set out from India to help Kashmir. With this, Kashmir became the part of Independent India. Along with this agreement, Kashmir has given some autonomy in Article 370 of Indian constitution. According to the Article 370 in 21st chapter of Indian Constitution states that Indian Parliament has the right to make laws concerning defense, foreign affairs and communication but for any other subjects, they have to take approval of Jammu and Kashmir Government. They have their own flag and constitution.

NOW

On 5th August 2019, In Parliament Home Minister Amit Shah present a proposal to abolish article 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir and to make new Union Territories. This proposal can be approve with the majority of parliament. By which all the liberties given to Jammu and Kashmir were removed. After the removal of Article 370 and 35A some changes has made:-
1) Anyone can buy property
2) No separate flag and constitution
3) Each and every by Indian Government will be applicable in Jammu and Kashmir
4) Section 356 and 360 will be applicable
5) End of Dual Citizenship
6) End of discrimination with the women of Jammu and Kashmir
7) Making of three union territories: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh
This law came in force in Kashmir from 31 October 2019.

कंपनी का शासन (1773-1857)

जैसा की हम लोग जानते हैं , भारत में ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी का आगमन 1600 में हुआ | उन्होंने भारत पर तक़रीबन 200 वर्षो से ज़्यादा राज किया | उन्होने सबसे पहले 1611 के समय भारत पर राज कर रहे बादशाह जहांगीर की अनुमति से आंध्र प्रदेश के मसौली पटनम में अस्थायी कारखाना स्थापित किया | फिर उसके बाद 1613 में स्थायी तौर पर सूरत में कारखाना स्थापित किया | धीरे धीरे उन्होंने पुरे देश में अपना व्यापर बढ़ाना शुरू किया | साथ ही साथ उन्होंने भारत पर अपना प्रशानिक आधिपत्य भी जमाना आरम्भ कर दिया | जिसका मुख्या उदाहरण है 1757 में हुआ प्लासी और 17664 में हुआ बक्सर का युद्ध | प्लासी का युद्ध बंगाल के गवर्नर रोबर्ट क्लाइव व सिराजुद्दौला के मध्य और बक्सर का युद्ध हेक्टर मुनरो और शाह आलम, मीर कासिम व् सुजाउद्दौला के मध्य हुआ जिसमे रोबर्ट क्लाइव और हेक्टर मुनरो की विजय हुई | जीत के बाद रोबर्ट क्लाइव ने भारत से कर वसूलना शुरु कर दिया, उन्होंने भारत के लोगों पर 80% कर लगा दिया। उनके इस निंदा जनक कार्य पर ब्रिटैन में उनकी खूब निंदा हुई, जिसकी आत्मग्लानि में उन्होंने आत्महत्या कर ली | इसके बाद ब्रिटिश सरकार ने वारेन हास्टिंग्स को भारत में भेजा, जहाँ उन्हें बंगाल का गवर्नर जनरल नियुक्त किया गया | वारेन हास्टिंग्स के भारत आने के बाद भारत में कंपनी राज की शुरुआत हुई. इस राज के दौरान वे कई अधिनियम लेकर आये, जिनके बारे में अब हम विस्तार से पढ़ेंगे |

1) 1773 विनियमन अधिनियम

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. गवर्नर के पद को गवर्नर जनरल बना दिया गया जिस पर वारेन हास्टिंग्स को नियुक्त किया गया |
2) उन्होंने बंगाल, मद्रास और बम्बई सूबों को एक कर दिया |
3) 1774 में कलकत्ता में उच्चतम न्यायालय की स्थापना की गयी, जिसमे चार मुख्य न्यायधीशों को नियुक्त किया गया वे थे: लार्ड एलिज़ा इम्पे, लार्ड हाईड, लार्ड चैम्बर, लार्ड हेमस्टर |

2) 1784 पिट का भारत अधिनियम

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. इस अधिनियम का नाम ब्रिटैन के तत्कालीन प्रधान मंत्री विलियम पिट नाम पर रखा गया |
2) प्रशासन और व्यापार को अलग कर दिया गया |
3) कार्यपालिका और न्यायपालिका को अलग कर दिया गया|
4) भारत की सभी प्रशासनिक ज़िम्मेदारियाँ ब्रिटिश सरकार ने ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी द्वारा अपने हाथों में ले ली |

3) 1793 चार्टर एक्ट

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. व्यापार अधिकारों को 20 वर्षों के लिए बढ़ा दिया गया |
2) ब्रिटिश अधिकारियों को वेतन मिलने लगा |

4) 1813 चार्टर एक्ट

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. भारत में ईसाई मिशनरी का आगमन शुरू हुआ |
2. व्यापर अधिकारों को और २० सालों के लिए बढ़ा दिया गया

5) 1833 चार्टर एक्ट

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. बंगाल के गवर्नर जनरल के पद को बदल कर भारत के गवर्नर जनरल का पद बना दिया गया जिस पर लार्ड विलियम बेंटिक को नियुक्त किया गया |
2. अंग्रेजी भाषा को भारत की आधिकारिक भाषा बना दिया गया |

6) 1853 चार्टर एक्ट

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. भारत के नागरिकों को भारत की सिविल सेवकों की परीक्षा में भाग लेने की अनुमति दी गयी | भारतीय सिविल सेवकों की परीक्षा में भारत से सबसे पहले सत्येंद्र नाथ टैगोर ने सफलता हासिल की |

ताज का शासन

1) भारत सरकार अधिनियम, 1858

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. कंपनी के शासन को ताज के शासन में बदल दिया गया | अर्थात ब्रिटिश सरकार का भारत पर सीधा कब्जा हो गया |
2) 'भारत का गवर्नर जनरल' के पद को बदल कर 'भारत का वाइसराय' पद बना दिया गया |
3) ब्रिटिश भारत के पहले वाइसराय लार्ड कैनिंग थे |

2) भारतीय परिषद अधिनियम, 1861

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. भारत में पहली बार विधान परिषद् की शुरुआत हुई |
2) सिविल सेवा का नाम बदल कर भरतीय सिविल सेवा नाम रख दिया गया |
3) भारत में मंत्रिमंडल प्रणाली की शुरुआत की गयी |

3) भारत परिषद अधिनियम, 1892

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. भारत में पहली बार 'चुनाव' शब्द परिचित करवाया गया |
2) विधान परिषद् के सदस्यों की संख्या को बढ़ा दिया गया |

4) भारतीय परिषद अधिनियम, 1909 (मोर्ले-मिंटो सुधार)

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. इस अधिनियम का नाम भारत के सचिव मार्ले और भारत के वाइसराय मिंटो के नाम पर रखा गया |
2. निर्वाचक मंडल में मुसलमानों के लिए अलग भाग बनाये गए |

5) भारत सरकार अधिनियम, 1919 (मोंटेग्यू-चेम्सफोर्ड सुधार)

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. भारतीय विधायिका को पहली बार 'द्विसदनीय' बनाया गया ।
2. भारत के प्रांतों में राजशाही प्रणाली की शुरुआत की गई |
3. केंद्रीय और प्रांतीय विषयों को एक दुसरे से अलग कर दिया गया |
4. लोक सेवा आयोग की स्थापना की गई |

6) भारत सरकार अधिनियम, 1935

इस अधिनियम के तहत :
1. ब्रिटिश भारत में भारतीय प्रांतों को शामिल किया गया |
2. शक्तियों को तीन स्तरों पर विभाजित किया गया - संघीय, प्रांतीय और समवर्ती |
3. भारतीय सचिव परिषद् को समापत कर दिया गया |
4. भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक की स्थापना की गयी |
5. उच्चतम न्यायलय को कलकत्ता से दिल्ली लाया गया |

7) भारतीय स्वतंत्रता अधिनियम, 1947

इस अधिनियम के तहत : 1. भारत को स्वतंत्र और प्रभु संपन्न घोषित किया गया |
2. ब्रिटिश भारत का विभाजन दो देशो में कर दिया गया - भारत और पाकिस्तान |
3. भारतीय सचिव परिषद् को समापत कर दिया गया |
4..केंद्र और प्रान्त में अलग-अलग सरकारों का गठन किया गया |
5. उच्चतम न्यायलय को कलकत्ता से दिल्ली लाया गया |

6) छठा संशोधन :

यह संशोधन 11 सितंबर 1956 से अस्तित्व में आया | इस संशोधन के अंतर्गत अनुच्छेद 269 व 286 और अनुसूची 7 में सुधार किये गए |

7) सातवां संशोधन :

यह संशोधन 1 नवंबर 1956 से अस्तित्व में आया | इस संशोधन के अंतर्गत अनुच्छेद 1, 3, 49, 80, 81, 82, 131, 153, 158, 168, 170, 171, 216, 217, 220, 222, 224, 230, 231 व 232 और अनुसूची 1, 2, 4, व 7 और भाग 8 में सुधार किये गए | साथ ही अनुच्छेद 258(अ), 290(अ), 298, 350(अ), 350(ब), 371, 372(अ) व 378(अ) को भारतीय संविधान में जोड़ा गया |

8) आठवां संशोधन :

:यह संशोधन 5 जनवरी 1960 से अस्तित्व में आया | इस संशोधन के अंतर्गत अनुच्छेद 334 में सुधार किया गया |

9) नौवां संशोधन :

यह संशोधन 28 दिसंबर 1960 से अस्तित्व में आया | इस संशोधन के अंतर्गत अनुसूची 1 में सुधार में सुधार किया गया |

10) दसवां संशोधन :

As we know, this virus has become a big living issue in these days. Many of the countries are suffering from this virus and some has been caused death. Almost 1 lakh cases are found globally infected by this virus. Here, we will talk about its symptoms, sources, preventions etc.
Let’s start.

Coronavirus

Coronavirus is an infectious disease spread by animals. This case firstly found in Wuhan, China. Gradually it spread all over the country. As according to the current data, 106, 467 cases are found of coronavirus and 3600 deaths. It has been found that more than 100 countries found suffering from this virus. This virus spreads from person to person. When an infected person sneezes or coughs, the virus may spread to another person. This spreads in a person at least 14 days.

Symptoms

Its symptoms are very common and can be found easily.
1) Fever
2) Cough and Sneeze
3) Breathing Problem
4) Tiredness
These symptoms are very common as in an ordinary flu.
But it is suggested, if you find these symptoms in yourself you should contact to the doctor. Because positive results may become more infectious and can cause pneumonia, kidney failure or even death. .

Prevention

To prevent from this virus, People are suggested to:
1) Wash your hands from time to time.
2) Avoid to touch your eyes, mouth and nose.
3) Use face mask and sanitizers when you are outside.
It is requested to you to cooperate with each other, do not believe in rumors and spread awareness about it.

Global cases of coronavirus

It is found that many people are suffering from coronavirus. Some of them recovered and some died. Maximum cases in which maximum deaths are found in China. Total recovered cases are found about 60, 435. Here is a table considering the statistical data of total cases, total deaths and total recoveries of coronavirus.

Coronavirus in India

In India, there are 39 cases of coronavirus found from 30th January to 7th March. Some cases found in Delhi, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chhattisgarh, Kerala. People are admitted in hospital and having a better treatment for it. It firstly found in Kerala.

As we know, this virus has become a big living issue in these days. Many of the countries are suffering from this virus and some has been caused death. Almost 1 lakh cases are found globally infected by this virus. Here, we will talk about its symptoms, sources, preventions etc.
Let’s start.

Coronavirus

Coronavirus is an infectious disease spread by animals. This case firstly found in Wuhan, China. Gradually it spread all over the country. As according to the current data, 106, 467 cases are found of coronavirus and 3600 deaths. It has been found that more than 100 countries found suffering from this virus. This virus spreads from person to person. When an infected person sneezes or coughs, the virus may spread to another person. This spreads in a person at least 14 days.

Symptoms

Its symptoms are very common and can be found easily.
1) Fever
2) Cough and Sneeze
3) Breathing Problem
4) Tiredness
These symptoms are very common as in an ordinary flu.
But it is suggested, if you find these symptoms in yourself you should contact to the doctor. Because positive results may become more infectious and can cause pneumonia, kidney failure or even death. .

Prevention

To prevent from this virus, People are suggested to:
1) Wash your hands from time to time.
2) Avoid to touch your eyes, mouth and nose.
3) Use face mask and sanitizers when you are outside.
It is requested to you to cooperate with each other, do not believe in rumors and spread awareness about it.

Global cases of coronavirus

It is found that many people are suffering from coronavirus. Some of them recovered and some died. Maximum cases in which maximum deaths are found in China. Total recovered cases are found about 60, 435. Here is a table considering the statistical data of total cases, total deaths and total recoveries of coronavirus.

Coronavirus in India

In India, there are 39 cases of coronavirus found from 30th January to 7th March. Some cases found in Delhi, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chhattisgarh, Kerala. People are admitted in hospital and having a better treatment for it. It firstly found in Kerala.
